Experience

My past research focused primarily on perpetrators of intimate partner violence. My current research aims to improve routine check up visits for children by including a focus on behavior and development.

I have been practicing psychology since 2001 as both a clinician and a researcher.


I have extensive training in the following types of therapy:


  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

  • Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) 


I have also served as intake coordinator and group therapy leader for two domestic violence ​centers and been part of a multidisciplinary team to evaluate children and adolescents for ADHD.
